27th April 2022. Organisers of the popular 4-day music festival held in the Brecon Beacons, Wales have announced their second wave line-up for their 20th anniversary event scheduled for 18th - 21st August 2022. New additions include the National Orchestra of Wales, El Goodo, John Mouse, Joe & The Shitboys, Tune-Yards, Sofia Kourtesis, Mary Lattimore, Nia Archives and The Long Blondes plus many more. They join previously announced Kraftwerk, Michael Kiwanuka, Beach House Metronomy, Bicep. The event is already sold out. 

26th April 2022. Vodafone has announced a multi-year sponsorship deal with American Express presents BST Hyde Park. Vodafone will be the official connectivity partner and will be supplying cutting-edge technology to deliver an incredible, immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experience for festival goers and music fans. Customers will receive exclusive rewards, including ticket access and money-can’t-buy experiences through Vodafone’s VeryMe Rewards programme. BST Hyde Park takes place over 3 weekends in June and July.

25th April 2022. Organisers of the 1-day family entertainment festival scheduled for 2nd June 2022 have announced their final line-up. Artists announced include Kenny Thomas, Pete Valentine, DJ Des Grant, Gemma-Louise Doyle and Will & Ben plus many more. The event is supported by South Ribble Borough Council and entry is free for all visitors.

22nd April 2022. Organisers of the 4-day small boutique music festival scheduled for 30th June - 3rd July 2022 have announced new acts. Artists announced include Bombay Bicycle Cub, The Vaccines, Cavetown, AU/RA, Fatherson, Royston Club, Girl Scout, BER, The Flints, Will Joseph Cook, Lucy Blue, Rachel Chinouriri, Cate, Flower Ov Love, Memorial and George O’Hanlon. They join previously announced artists Grief, Beabadoobee, Easy Life, Holly Humberstone and James Bay. A limited number of tickets are still available for anyone interested. 

21st April 2022. Organisers of the unique 1-day music festival have added to their line-up for the event scheduled to take place on 11th June 2022. The new additions include This Is The Kit, Fiona Bevan, Crich Brass, Riding The Low, The Rosadocs, Catmilk, Shadows Of A Silhouette, Melonade, ALT BLK ERA, Estella, Isaac Neilson and Fellow Braves. They join previously announced headliners The Charlatans, Tim Burgess, The Cribs, Liz Lawrence and Peaness. Tickets are still available for anyone interested. 

20th April 2022. A new seaside festival organised by Freckfest and North Ayrshire Council will take place at the Irvine Harbourside and Beach Park and is scheduled for 23rd - 24th July 2022. The festival will provide top-quality live music and outdoor activities both on and off the water including an aerobatic display by the Red Arrows. The music line-up is yet to be announced but will include household names according to organisers. Details of tickets will be announced in due course. 

19th April 2022. Organisers of the Dutch Prognosis Festival have announced the launch of a UK edition scheduled for 22nd - 23rd April 2023. Few details are known yet about possible headliners although the location of the event is expected to be in London. The home event took place last weekend in Eindhoven and featured Katatonia, Leprous, Enslaved and The Ocean.  

18th April 2022. Organisers of the 2nd edition 1-day music festival scheduled for 20th August 2022 have announced their first headliners. Artists announced include Rag'n'Bone Man, Example, Jax Jones and Blue DeTiger. Tickets are available now for anyone interested. 

15th April 2022. Organisers of the 4-day music festival have added headliners to their line-up for the event scheduled to take place on 26th - 29th August 2022. The new additions include The Breath, Thea Gilmore, Edward II, Kanda Bongo Man, 3 Daft Monkeys, Amythyst Kiah, Lauren Housley, Namvula, Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage, Lady Nade, Hannah James & Toby Kuhn, Sound of the Sirens, Tarren, The Haar and the Rosie Hood Band. Tickets are still available for anyone interested.

14th April 2022. Organisers of the 3-day Americana music festival have finalised their line-up for 17th - 19th June 2022. The additional artists confirmed include James, Cam, Hiss Golden Messenger, Darlingside, Israel Nash, Amy Helm, Blue Rose Code, Eddy Smith & the 507, Ida Mae and many more. They join previously announced headliners Van Morrison, Wilco, The Waterboys, Jake Bugg, Imelda May, Drive-By Truckers and Foy Vance. Limited numbers of tickets are still available for anyone interested. 

13th April 2022. Organisers of the famous 5-day music festival have added headliners to their line-up for the event scheduled for 22nd - 26th June 2022. The new additions to appear on the Field of Avalon stage include The Damned, Dr John Cooper Clarke, The Hoosiers, Nick Mulvey, Mc Fly, Sugababes and The Tom Robinson Band plus many more  They join previously announced headliners Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney and Kendrick Lamar. The event has been sold out for some time. 

12th April 2022. JBM Music, organisers of the Wile Out music festival for house, tech house, drum n bass and bassline have finalised their line-up for 9th July 2022. The headliners confirmed include Craig David, Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Katy B, Jax Jones, DJ EZ, Sigma, Sam Divine, Joel Corry, Kurupt FM, Sammy Virji, Friction, Biscits, Secondcity, Wookie, Kele Ke Roc and Sweet Female Attitude.  Tickets are available now for anyone interested. 

11th April 2022. Organisers of the Newcastle music festival originally scheduled June this year have released a statement on their website stating that the 2022 event will be cancelled. They now plan to hold the festival next year scheduled for 26th - 28th May 2023. The statement cites an oversaturated market and ongoing economic crisis as the reason for the cancellation. Early bird ticket holders can apply for a refund or can carry over validity to 2023 

8th April 2022. Organisers of the 4-day music, street art, skate + BMX festival in Somerset have added headliners to their line-up for the event scheduled to take place on 7th - 10th July 2022. The new additions include Loyale Carner, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Hannah Wants and Charlie Tee. They join previously announced headliners Headie One, Becky Hill, Mabel, AJ Tracey and Wilkinson. Tickets are still available for anyone interested. 

7th April 2022. The popular 3-day folk music festival scheduled for 23rd - 26th June 2022 have announced their first line-up. The 30th anniversary event announced artists including Wildwood Kin, Eliza Carthy Trio, Treetop Flyers, Alasdair Roberts, Alex Rex, Gwenifer Raymond, Emily Barker, The Magic Lantern, Native Harrow, Danny George Wilson, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, London Bulgarian Choir plus many more. Tickets are available now for selected performances whilst entry to the festival is free.

6th April 2022. A new 3-day festival scheduled for 29th - 31st July 2022 has been announced and will take place in Raeburn Place sports ground in Stockbridge. The artist line-up includes Razorlight, James Arthur, Ella Eyre, Cassia, RATS, Twin Atlantic, Feeder, Sports Team, Declan Welsh & The Decadent West, Sam Ryder and many more. Tickets are available now for anyone interested. 

5th April 2022. The popular music festival, expected to attract up to 60,000 festival-goers, takes place on the city’s Town Moor and is scheduled for 30th - 31st July 2022. Artists announced for their line-up include Black Eyed Peas, Joel Corry, AJ Tracey, Example, Dimitri From Paris, Sigala, Clean Bandit, Patrick Topping, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss plus many more. Tickets are available now for anyone interested. 

4th April 2022. The free, 24-hour, non-stop multi-arts and science festival scheduled for 18th – 19th June 2022 have announced their line-up. Artists include John Ward, LTJ Bukem, Les Spaine, Andy Sheppard, Secret Night Gang and Juanita Euka plus many more. There are plenty of activities for all age groups and beach camping is available too. Some events are ticketed and require pre-booking for anyone interested. 

1st April 2022. After a 2-year absence The Beat Herder Festival returns scheduled for 14th - 17th July 2022. Organisers of the 4-day event have now announced their line-up. Artists include Nile Rogers & Chic, The Wailers, Hot Chip, Public Service Broadcasting, Craig Charles, David Rodigan, Alan Fitzpatrick, HAAi, Kink, Dub Pistols, Greg Wilson, Danny Byrd, Jamz Supernova, Krafty Kuts, Ralph Lawson and many more. 31st March 2022. Organisers of the new Bristol based 3-day EDM festival scheduled for 29th - 31st July 2022 have announced their line-up. The 100 artists include Jeff Mills, Denis Sulta, Sherelle, Sally , Paranoid London Live, Sarah Story, DJ Boring, DJ Paulette, Kettama, Cici, Mella Dee, East End Dubs and Skream. The secret location is yet to be revealed but organisers state it will be just a 20-minute drive from central Bristol. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.

30th March 2022. Organisers of the new Surrey based one day EDM festival scheduled for 18th June 2022 have announced their full line-up. Artists include Eats Everything Skream, Sam Divine, Dusky, DJ Seinfeld, Melé, Prospa, Latmun, Jasper James, Jamie Roy, Chloé Robinson, Arielle Free, The Menendez Brothers, Amy Elle and many more. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.

29th March 2022. A one-off festival has been announced scheduled for 4th April 2022 taking place at the The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, London. New Noise will raise money for the Help Musicians charity and features the ‘A Side' Conference with specialist speakers discussing a wide variety of impactful topics and the ‘B Side’ Festival which presents a music label fair, acoustic acts, and a headliner gig. Tickets are free but donations are welcome.

28th March 2022. A new edition of the National Whisky Festival has been announced for Inverness scheduled for 2nd July 2022. The new edition joins the Glasgow and Aberdeen editions. The event will feature numerous brands of whisky along with cocktails by renowned mixologists, experimental brewery collaborations, food vendors and exclusive, in-depth whisky masterclasses. In addition there will be a specially curated bill of live music from celebrated Scottish musicians. Tickets go on general sale from 28th March 2022 for anyone interested. 

25th March 2022. Organisers of the 4-day festival have added 40 more artists to their line-up for the event scheduled for 21st - 24th July 2022. The new additions include Razorlight, Declan McKenna and The Mysterines plus many more. They join previously announced headliners Sleaford Mods, Annie Mac, Basement Jaxx, Grandmasterflash, Madness, Loyle Carner, Primal Scream, Craig David, Sigrid, Sugarbabes and Kojey Radical. Tier 5 tickets are available now for anyone interested.

24th March 2022. Organisers of the 4-day family festival have announced their final line-up for the event taking place at Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire scheduled for 21st - 24th July 2022. Artists include Björk with the Hallé Orchestra, Groove Armada, Mogwai, Metronomy, Hannah Peel and Paraorchestra plus many more. Also present will be British astronaut Tim Peake and Aardman Animations among the many diverse range of attractions. Release 4 tickets are available now for anyone interested. 

23rd March 2022. A new 2-day EDM festival scheduled for 27th - 28th August 2022 has been announced by promoters Shine and Belsonic. The new event will take place in Belfast’s Boucher Road Playing Fields and the line-up announced includes Cristoph, Dense & Pika, Eric Prydz, Fjaak, Michael Bibi, Peggy Gou, Special Request, DJ Seinfeld, Disclosure, Dusky, Kettama, Mall Grab, Patrick Topping and Yasmin Gardezi. Tickets go on general sale from 29th March 2022 for anyone interested. 

22nd March 2022. A new 3-day festival scheduled for 2nd - 4th September 2022 has been announced by Optimo (Espacio) and dance music magazine Ransom Note. The DJ duo are celebrating 25 years as they aim to replicate the original energy and fun of the early Optimo parties. Tickets are limited and go on sale only to those who pre-register. 

21st March 2022. A new 3-day EDM festival scheduled for 29th - 31st July 2022 has been announced and will take place near Bristol although the specific location has not yet been confirmed. Over 100 artists are expected but the line-up has not been announced. Anyone interested can sign up for further news and early bird tickets when they become available on 25th March 2022.

19th March 2022. The popular 4-day  festival that has been absent since 2019 returns next month and is scheduled for 6th - 9th April 2022. The event will feature 150 craft beers and 50 ciders over the 4 days with live music from Blistered Molly and a selection of acts under the theme of Red Sessions. A variety of ticket options are available online now or they can be purchased on the door.

17th March 2022. The 10-day music festival in London’s Hyde Park have announced two dates for The Rolling Stones on 25th June and 3rd July 2022. The dates will form part of their 60-year anniversary celebrations. They join previously announced headliners Pearl Jam, White Reaper, Elton John, The Eagles, Pixies, Stereophonics, Adele and Duran Duran. The festival runs from 25th June to 10th July 2022 and tickets are available now for most shows with The Rolling Stones going on sale from 18th March 2022.
