Rise Up Festival - Aberdeen - Announce Launch for May 2023.

6th April 2023. The arts festival curated by We Are Here Scotland and commissioned by Aberdeen Performing Arts that celebrates Black and People of Colour takes place on 5th - 6th May 2023. Artists confirmed include 4TUNE, Rue Cooper, Djana Gabrielle and DJ Pooyan Saadati. Also announced were poet Courtney Stoddart and comedian Safeena Rashid plus playwright Sara Shaarawi and dancer Dorine Mugisha. The festival will feature a variety of artists, discussions, workshops and talks. Tickets are available now for anyone interested.
